Articulated arm by ROBOTIS, KR

OpenMANIPULATOR-X (RM-X52-TNM) is a 700 g, four-axis desktop arm with a one-axis gripper, built from five DYNAMIXEL XM430-W350-T servos on a 12 V TTL bus. It carries 500 g at a 380 mm reach and is driven from a PC or OpenCR board through ROS, the DYNAMIXEL SDK, Arduino or Processing, with open hardware CAD and software. It is widely used for teaching and as the arm on the TurtleBot3 platform.

Editor's notes

Unverified (free text): ROBOTIS direct price (robotis.us not fetched); OpenMANIPULATOR-Y status; ros2 support. DOF per e-Manual is '5 (4 DOF + 1 DOF gripper)', so axes 4. Repeatability '< 0.2 mm' recorded as 0.2. Joint speed 46 RPM; gripper stroke 20–75 mm. open_source from the RobotShop listing ('Open-source hardware (CAD) and software (SDK)'); the e-Manual overview page was not fetched. Neither fetched page mentions an OpenMANIPULATOR-Y, so whether a successor exists is unverified. The e-Manual links a ROS 2 URDF tutorial but states no ROS 2 distribution, so sdk lists ros only. mounting 'table' is an assumption for a desktop arm; not stated.
