reBot Arm B601 is Seeed Studio's own open-source 6-axis arm with parallel gripper (6+1 DoF), built on quasi-direct-drive CAN-bus actuators and launched in 2026 as a step up from the SO-ARM101 for physical-AI research. It comes in a RobStride-motor (RS) and a Damiao-motor (DM) version, ships assembled or as motor/structure kits, and supports LeRobot, ROS 1/2, MoveIt, Isaac Sim and a Python SDK.

Editor's notes

Unverified (free text): direct Seeed B601-RS product-page price. Chosen as Seeed's "big" arm: search of seeedstudio.com for larger arms surfaced reBot Arm B601 (own brand, launched Apr 2026, RS version Jun 2026) and the Fashionstar StarAi 7-DoF arms; no AgileX PiPER or ARX listing was found on Seeed. Attributes above use the B601-RS datasheet; the DM version differs (see variants). Power supply (48 V 12.5 A for RS, 24 V 15 A for DM) is not included. Seeed's retail kits include upgrades (machined brackets, braided wiring) that are not in the open BOM. All Seeed B601 product and blog pages returned client errors on 2026-10-28, so prices are from cross-listings.
